* additional details...Southerly winds will increase on friday to
15 to 25 mph which will push waves into the 3 to 5 foot range.
south sides of south piers will be the most dangerous places to
swim, such as, grand haven state park and pere marquette park
in muskegon.

winds will result in elevated fire danger conditions along and north
of us-10 today. southwest winds between 5-15 mph will gust to 20-25
mph this afternoon. relative humidity values as low as 30 percent are
expected. these conditions support the quick start and spread of
wildfires, so be sure to take the proper precautions.

values, and increasing southwest winds, will result in elevated
fire danger conditions across northern lower michigan today.
southwest winds will gust to 15 to 25 mph this afternoon and
evening, highest west of i-75. relative humidity values will drop
to 20 to 30 percent in much of northern michigan, with the lowest
values east of i-75. these conditions support the quick start and
spread of wildfires, so be sure to take the proper precautions to
prevent fires from starting.
