and flood-prone locations continues into the afternoon. this
includes the shade river near chester which is currently in minor
flood.
* additional details...
- at 636 am est, doppler radar and gauges indicated another
round of heavy rain moving across the warned area. flooding
is already occurring in the warned area. between 1 and 3
inches of rain have fallen. the shade river near chester
remains in minor flood stage and holding steady. the current
stage is just under 19 feet, which results in flooding
impacts to low sections of scout camp road and sugar creek
bridge. additional minor flooding is likely along the river
and throughout the warned area.
- additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in
the warned area. locally higher amounts are possible in
heavier showers.

coolville, rutland, lake hope state park, forked run state

- at 552 am est, doppler radar indicated another round of heavy
rain. flooding is ongoing in the warned area. between 0.5 and
1.2 inches of rain has fallen. duck creek at macksburg has
reached minor flood stage at 13 feet and rising. at 13 feet,
main street near the creek floods and agricultural fields
adjacent to the creek also flood. additional rises are
expected through the morning with other small streams likely
flooding across the area as well.
- additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in
the warned area.

parkersburg, marietta, belpre, nelsonville, st. marys,
glouster, mcconnelsville, beverly, shawnee, chesterhill,
